The AZ Kick Off Classic


Dolphins Scrimmage Saturday August 22nd

IMPORTANT - SCHEDULE UPDATED 8/20

Scrimmage will be at Naranja Park.  The address for Naranja Park is 660 W. Naranja Dr.  This field is located west of Oracle and East of La Canada on Naranja Dr. which is one MAJOR street south of Tangerine.  The entrance is marked with a sign as well as several large statues of birds.  When you drive in there is an archery range.  Keep driving to the back towards the lights and you will find two large dog parks and the fields.  There will be available parking in the lot, in the dirt, and an additional space is located north and east of the fields if you keep driving through. 

There is absolutely no shade at this park.  Please bring pop-ups/umbrellas etc... There will be a designated team area marked off as well as parent area.  There will be water but PLEASE bring your own as well.

2015 SEASON INFORMATION

Raffle Tickets: To off-set costs by $100.00, we use a raffle ticket system. Raffle tickets are due ON August 21, 2015. Prizes will be drawn August 28, 2015 during water break at the snack bar.

Volunteering: After volunteering (2) times we return your $50.00 volunteer deposit check. Please use Sign Up Genius to track your hours.

Safety: No Parents on the Field, No Pets on school property.

Tobacco Free: No smoking on school property (including e-cigarettes & smokeless tobacco products).

Snack Bar: Prepaid snack bar punch cards are available for purchase at the snack bar, in $20 increments. We need your help to keep the snack bar running all season!

FOOTBALL DATES & EXPECTATIONS

Practice: Tackle is every day for the first month from (July 27th) thru (August 14th). Practice times are approximately 6:30-8:45 (or once Cienega steps off the field).

  • Flag practice Begins on August 3, 2015 and follows the same time schedule with some leniency for the younger ones.
  • Practice goes to three nights a week: Starting the week of August 17th, 2015. Practice will then be on: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, same time and place.

Mouth Pieces & Cups: All tackle players are required to have mouth pieces that connect to their helmets. Protective cups are to be worn at all times.

All flag players are required to have colored mouth pieces, and protective cups are to be worn at all times.

Game Schedule: As soon as TYFSF has the game schedule completed it will be distributed immediately to all families. As a reminder game schedule is always subject to changes.


CHEER DATES & EXPECTATIONS

  • Cheer Flag practice Begins on August 3, 2015 and follows the same time schedule with some leniency for the younger ones.
  • Cheer Practice goes to three nights a week: Starting the week of August 17th, 2015. Practice will then be on: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, same time and place.

Stunting: A squad member must have (20) twenty hours of conditioning prior to stunting.

Dress Code: Cotton athletic T-shirt or sweatshirts in purple, gold, white, black or gray Cotton athletic shorts and sweat pants in purple, gold, white, black or gray (NO POCKETS ALLOWED)

  • Socks and appropriate athletic shoes must be worn at every practice (NO SLIP ON SHOES ALLOWED)
  • ABSOLUTELY NO DENIM, BOOTY SHORTS, POCKETS, SPAGHETTI STRAPS, TANK TOPS, JEWELRY, LONG NAILS OR NAIL POLISH ARE ALLOWED
